Full Time Score Ballinabranna 0-13 to St Patricks 3-18

Ballinabranna started brightly registering 3 points in the first 4 mins with 2 coming from John Sheehan but failed to score in a 12 min period where St Patricks fought back scoring 8 points in that timeframe. Jack Kennedy was again the stand out performer registering 7 points in the first half. St Pats wasted several chances in front of goal where the Ballinabranna keeper made 3 point blank saves to deny Jack Kennedy and Johnny Mernagh. But Ballinabranna stayed in the game with a few scores towards the end of the half.
St Pats lead 0-11 to 0-8 at the break. In the second half St Patricks dominated the game playing a fast flowing game and were full of energy with Padraig Murphy making several long runs and laying the ball of to allow to allow Jack Kennedy and Paddy McCall to score several points. A long run from Darren Butler was spotted while John Kenny was in posession he hand passed to Butler and Butler cooly slid the ball past the keeper in the bottom right hand corner of the goal. Jack Kennedy & Johnny Mernagh scored 2 more goals also. Good team performance from St Patricks with the stand out players being Jack Kennedy (1-9), John Kenny (0-3), Padraig Murphy and Frank Wallace.
