Played in Bro. Leo Park, this was a massive win for our lads. Trailing by 2 points at the break by 1.7 to 2.6, Colm Kenny’s goal kept us in touch, along with a few lovely scores from Farrell (2), Murray (2), Kavanagh, Nolan and Dillon Kenny. 
We played towards the town end in the second half and with 10 minutes to go it was 2.8 each with Colm Ratchet Kenny finding the back of the net again. The visitors went ahead 2.12 to 2.10 as the clock ran out, after Kavanagh had added a further two and Madden off the bench kicking our 10th. 
It looked like our league was over until Gary Maxwell overturned a ball at midfield and we played it through Farrell to Eoghan Cleary who managed to get past 3 defenders before burying the ball in the corner of the net to give us the narrowest of wins! An exciting finish to this game with young Cleary the hero in a team who played very well with a great spread of scorers. The subs were key tonight and allowed fresh legs at the end of the game to get us the win we needed so badly.
We are away to Leighlinbridge next Tuesday in the final league game, we need to win and then it’s a case of seeing how other results go to see if our semi final spot is secured.
